Donte Clark Headed To UMass

I guess if you’re not smart enough to get into Virginia Tech, then UMass is your place.

Former Hokies commit Donte Clark is reportedly headed to UMass after he failed to gain admission into Virginia Tech.

Originally penciled in as a starter for the 2013 Hokies, Clark will most likely have to sit out a year as a non-qualifier if he gets accepted into UMass.

From the New Hampshire Gazette:

Clark still needs to be accepted by the university and have his paperwork processed before he can officially be part of the program.

I’m sure adding the 27rh rated shooting guard is going to turn into a positive for the Minutemen, but what does this say about their education program? Not much. A commentator below is much more in the know is helps me out.

The Atlantic 10 allows partial qualifiers/ non qualifiers… The acc does not. It has nothing to do with the education program at umass

Wow – pretty stupid comment for a college basketball fan – understand the basics.
